Height Review: Previous Recommendation Withdrawn
Why Vela has withdrawn its previous Height buying recommendation, and how to check availability before adopting a project management tool.

Editorial correction — September 15, 2026: our previous review recommended adopting Height and described a current free plan and an $8.50 Team plan as verified. We cannot substantiate those current availability and pricing claims. We have withdrawn the buying recommendation and removed the signup instructions and comparative rankings.
Why the old review should not guide a purchase
During this review, we could not retrieve a working official product or pricing page at height.app or its pricing address. A failed connection alone does not prove a shutdown date, so we are not presenting it as proof of a specific closure event. It does mean that we cannot responsibly describe current subscriptions as verified or direct a new team to adopt the service.
The previous article also used phrases about speed, AI quality and setup time without a documented comparative test. Those should not have been presented as established results. This page retains the original address so readers following existing links can see the correction.
What to verify before choosing any replacement
First identify the workflow you need to preserve: issues, project tasks, dependencies, comments, file attachments or reporting. A replacement can import task titles yet lose relationships and permissions. Test a small representative project and record what transfers before making a wider decision.

If you already have an export from an older tool, keep an unchanged copy and map owners, statuses and dependencies before import. Avoid assuming that every attachment or comment will transfer automatically. Confirm the destination’s supported import format in its own documentation.
